WELCOME MESSAGE

We are delighted to welcome you to the 10th Asia Pacific Primary Care Research Conference (APPCRC) 2025 which will be held at the Academia, SGH Campus in Singapore from 19 to 21 June 2025. This groundbreaking conference is where thought leaders, healthcare professionals, and innovators from Singapore and the Asia Pacific region come together to explore the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) and innovations in primary care.

As AI continues to reshape healthcare, this event serves as a platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and practical insights into how technology can enhance patient care, streamline workflows, and address key challenges in modern medicine. Together, we will delve into the latest advancements in AI-driven diagnostics, predictive analytics, personalized medicine, and workflow optimization, all while keeping the patient at the heart of our discussions. Ultimately, primary healthcare professionals aim to leverage on AI and innovation to fulfil the Quadruple Aims of improving patient experience, population health, healthcare costs and provider well-being.

We are honoured to have an exceptional lineup of plenary speakers, thought leaders, and innovators who will share their insights, experiences, and visions for the future. As in the previous editions of APPCRC, the highlight is the Research Championship in which junior or novice primary care researchers will be upskilled in research methodology through intensive coaching by established and experienced Family Medicine academics from local and regional universities. It is a brain sport in which teams of participants polish up their research proposals to vie for the championship trophy for their award-winning presentations. The innovators will be onsite to demonstrate their innovations and solutions at the World Café within the conference. Participants stand a chance to win attractive prizes at the inaugural innovation quiz at the conference. What is equally informative is the opportunity to hear the Health Technology startups pitch their solution at the Innovation Bonanza, providing insight to conference participants on the possibility of their tactical deployment in their respective country or healthcare settings.

Let us embrace this opportunity to learn from one another, challenge conventional thinking, and ignite the spark of AI and innovation that will propel primary healthcare into a brighter, more equitable future. Together, we can harness the power of AI to create a world where every patient receives the care they deserve. Whether you are a clinician, researcher, technologist, or policymaker, your participation at the APPCRC 2025 is a testament to your commitment to advance primary healthcare.

We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting journey to shape the future of primary care together!
